Slow progress
I just sent off the final version of my ATR article. I rather split the baby in my battle with the copyeditor, restoring everything I had originally written in the body of the paper but allowing the ruthless pruning of my (formerly) discursive and snarky footnotes to stand. At any rate, I'm rejoicing that that's done.
That article, by the way, was my paper for last summer's class on pneumatology and spiritual theology at Sewanee. Somehow I don't expect that this summer's classes will yield similar fruit for my CV, but you never know.
The big job now is finishing The Book. I'm not sure how much you'll be hearing from me over the next few weeks. Granted, there is this essay on clericalism that I've been mulling over . . .
