Mister, we could use a man like James of Jerusalem again

Yesterday was the Feast of Saint James of Jerusalem (transferred from Sunday). Take a look at the collect for the day:
Grant, O God, that, following the example of your servant James the Just, brother of our Lord, your Church may give itself continually to prayer and to the reconciliation of all who are at variance and enmity; through Jesus Christ ourLord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, oneGod, now and for ever. Amen.

There's an awful lot of "variance and enmity" in the Anglican Communion right now, but where is our James of Jerusalem? Certainly there are voices of calm and caution, but we have not seen the emergence of the person of great stature and persuasive force who can engineer real reconciliation, as opposed to the uneasy cease-fire to which we seem to be headed. I think a lot of people were looking to the Archbishop of Canterbury to be such a person, but he has disappointed those expectations.
